I had lunch there this week with four friends who are much more knowledgeable about Indian food that I am. I expected to be completely overwhelmed by a menu that I know nothing about. However we had a very pleasant waitress who patiently explained everything that I asked about. We sampled each other's dishes, and there wasn't anything that I wouldn't order for myself. One of my companions ordered a tomato soup that was absolutely delicious. I ordered a curry with chicken, spinach and garlic that I'm not sure that I would order again, but I look forward to trying other things on the extensive menu. I ordered the executive lunch, full combo, and I got a salad, iced green tea and a small dessert. My total bill with tax and service was about $12, which I thought was an excellent value for what I received.
The owner, a nice young man, visited with us after we ate and explained the menu and the meal preparations. He said that the chefs are all from India and that all of the food is completely authentic.
I especially enjoyed that small personal touches at the end of the meal, the expanding little finger tip towels and a roasted palate cleansing spice mix.
All in all, a very pleasant dining experience, and a great new find. I definitely plan to return.
